Workshop – Positioning the planning organisation
Everybody in the organisation has an opinion on ‘how things are planned’. Team leaders, management, the finance department, the works council, HR and of course the employees themselves. People’s opinions about how things are planned are not always positive and there can be several reasons for this.
Managers and operational employees do not always feel that their voice has been heard. Planning staff do not always feel understood and appreciated in view of the complexity of the rules and regulations that affect their work. This can lead to tensions on both sides, a decline in performance and, in some cases, absenteeism among planners, managers and employees. This is very unfortunate and above all unnecessary.
This workshop focuses on giving planning staff the tools they need to convincingly explain their work and challenges. Based on a positive, professional attitude and a common goal. Clearly stating what they stand for, what colleagues are entitled to expect and what they expect of their colleagues. The organisation benefits and the work of the (senior) planners or planning managers becomes even more enjoyable and effective.
