Project Planning training course

While you are standing at the coffee machine, somebody asks you to take over a big project. Naturally you say yes, but what have you got yourself into and how are you going to make it work?

How do you define the outcomes of your project, when do you have to do what, how much is the project going to cost, what personnel will you need, and how are you going to report on the progress of the project to your line manager?

The Project Planning course will help you to structure your project and to translate this into a project planning schedule that you can communicate with others, and which will enable you to monitor and report on the progress of your project.

What is plan-based working?
How do you divide up your end product into manageable chunks?
What does the concept “critical path” actually mean?
What is the best way to manage the direction of your project?
How do you allocate resources (project members and resources) to your project?
How do you monitor the progress of your project in terms of time, money, and quality?
How do you identify existing or potential problem issues, and how do you make the necessary adjustments during the project?
