Study into sustainable staff deployment
The assignment concerned a study into the problem areas and possible solution strategies surrounding the sustainable deployment of production staff working in the Bottling and Warehouse departments of Bavaria N.V. Bavaria sought the support of a professional and independent party to provide assistance with both the process and content-related aspects of this issue.
An in-depth study
In consultation with a working group (which included representatives of senior management, middle management, HR and the Works Council), Déhora developed a questionnaire tailored to the specific situation at the enterprise. Following the questionnaire survey, survey feedback sessions were held with groups of employees. These survey-feedback sessions brought to light the mechanisms behind the outcomes obtained. Déhora wrote a report based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the survey-feedback sessions with the key findings, including concrete and actionable recommendations.
According to the client:
‘Bavaria asked Déhora to think about the sustainable deployability of its production personnel, about ways of approaching this complex issue and identifying future-focused solution strategies. We met with extremely experienced and expert employees. Déhora has a thorough and structured approach that is tailored to the specific situation of our company. Déhora was able to bring together a variety of parties, such as the Works Council and senior management. Christine Baaijens was our adviser for this project. In addition to her high degree of professionalism and factual knowledge, it was a pleasure to work with her. Her input is constructive, she discusses findings in an open and clear manner with our staff and never loses sight of the interest of both employer and employee. Our cooperation with Déhora has resulted in an extensive and well-substantiated report on the current state of affairs (baseline measurement), which will serve as the basis for further development of the theme of sustainable deployment within Bavaria’s production departments.’
